Role Summary

We require a Media Asset Coordinator to join our vibrant and fast-paced Media Operations team, who will provide support for digital and physical asset workflows. The main responsibilities of the Media Asset Coordinator are to ensure that daily content operations are running efficiently, while managing the sourcing of digital files from distributors, CSPs, Anuvu offices and major studios across our internal Data/Asset Management systems. This role will use Media Asset Management processes, ensuring the integrity and metadata accuracy of ingested content and supporting the integration of new business units with the system. The position will be responsible for acquiring content from distributor, perform non-liner edit using Adobe Premiere and other Adobe Creative Cloud products, prepare media for ingest, perform QC of assets, delivery of media, troubleshooting failed imports, updating metadata, archiving, and identifying any missing assets. The Media Asset Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining expert level knowledge of Media Asset Management technologies and methods in order to serve Anuvu’s strategic roadmap.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Track incoming assets from various global distributors / content owners and monitor throughout supply chain


• Troubleshoot any holds or discrepancies between assets and confirmed orders


• Check & track receipts for delivery of content between facilities, labs, and integrators


• Assists content providers with delivery specifications to ensure successful deliveries


• Coordinate with internal operations teams to troubleshoot missing assets based on internal work order status


• Acquire and import source master assets, languages, and access service components


• Basic Non-Linear Editing using Premiere and other Adobe Creative Cloud products


• Quality control of assets against work orders and technical specifications


• Coordinate with various departments to ensure rush orders are prioritized and support critical and time sensitive requests


• Troubleshoot and problem solve technical delivery issues with both incoming and outgoing files


• Troubleshoot and problem solve quality related issues of sent/received files with QC and editorial departments


• Investigate and resolve any rejections or flags from integrators or clients


• Responsible for generating new FTP and Aspera connections, or other delivery methods as required with client provided credentials


• Archive, restore and transfer files


• Adapt and follow new workflows and processes as introduced

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate in any discipline


• Knowledge of digital video standards including broadcast codecs, frame rates, aspect ratio preservation and conversion, standards conversion is required


• Basic to intermediate knowledge of NLE editing using Adobe Creative Cloud


• Experience versioning masters as per guidelines within the airline or Broadcast industry.


• Experience in Media & Entertainment or Broadcast industries


• Understanding of digital production supply chain and mass processing of deliverable files though automation or manual production process


• 2-3 years Media Asset Management experience


• Knowledge of MS Office package


• Working knowledge of Photoshop preferred


• Excellent English language and communication skills
