Accountabilities:
The role will focus on developing engaging promotional scripts and storytelling concepts that drive audience interest and performance across digital platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Writing high-impact Malayalam promo scripts for microdramas, OTT content, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Creating powerful hooks and emotion-driven narratives that capture viewer attention within the first few seconds.
- Developing short-form scripts optimized for engagement, retention, and binge-worthy viewing experiences.
- Analyzing successful OTT promos, viral content trends, and audience behavior to identify effective storytelling patterns.
- Collaborating with creative teams, editors, and marketing professionals to develop compelling promotional content.
- Adapting storytelling style, tone, pacing, and formats based on platform requirements and audience preferences.
- Staying updated on digital entertainment trends, viral formats, and audience engagement strategies.
- Contributing creative ideas to improve content performance and strengthen brand storytelling.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have strong Malayalam writing skills, creative storytelling experience, and an understanding of digital entertainment audiences. Required qualifications and skills include:
- 2–5 years of experience in Malayalam content writing, scriptwriting, promo writing, or related creative roles.
- Experience working with OTT platforms, web series, films, microdramas, or digital entertainment content is preferred.
- Exceptional command of written Malayalam with the ability to create creative, impactful, and engaging scripts.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, including story arcs, emotional triggers, pacing, and dramatic tension.
- Ability to create concise, high-retention content designed for short-form video platforms.
- Strong understanding of audience psychology and digital content consumption behaviors.
- Ability to analyze trends and translate insights into creative content strategies.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with creative and marketing teams.
