Job Description - Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research on global and domestic trade trends, exports/imports, FTAs, trade policies, and emerging markets.
Track daily news and media intelligence related to trade policy, international business, industry developments, and economic indicators; prepare regular intelligence summaries.
Analyze sect oral opportunities for Indian businesses across industries such as manufacturing, energy, textiles, food processing, infrastructure, and technology.
Provide strategic research inputs for trade bodies, government ministries, export promotion councils, and trade exhibitions.
Prepare market intelligence reports, sector briefs, country opportunity reports, and presentation decks for leadership and stakeholders.
Translate complex economic and trade data into clear, actionable insights and support communication strategies with research -driven content.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics.
Additional qualification in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Media Studies will be preferred.
Strong understanding of trade economics, global markets, business trends, and policy environment.

Experience:

5–8 years of experience in market research, economic research, trade intelligence, business research, or policy research.
Prior experience working with trade bodies, government organizations, consulting firms, media research teams, or trade promotion/exhibition agencies will be preferred.
