Returns Executive (E-commerce/ Retail) - Bhiwandi Mumbai

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Returns Executive to independently manage and streamline the end-to-end returns function. The role covers RTO and RTV processes, marketplace and Q-Commerce returns, and claims settlement with logistics partners. The focus is on accuracy, timely closure and minimal inventory loss.

Key Responsibilities Returns Management

• Manage end-to-end RTO (Return to Origin) and RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.


• Handle returns and claims across Amazon and other online marketplaces.


• Manage Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce) returns and ensure timely closure.


• Monitor and oversee the complete returns process to ensure accuracy, timely closure and minimum inventory loss.

Inspection, Repair and Restocking

• Coordinate the inspection, repair, restocking and system updating of returned products.

Claims and Logistics Coordination

• Handle claims for damaged, missing, short or incorrect items received through shipping and logistics partners.


• Coordinate with courier and shipping partners to resolve return-related discrepancies and settle claims.

Process Improvement

• Establish, implement and continuously improve returns processes and SOPs.


• Identify recurring issues in the returns process and recommend corrective actions to reduce losses and improve operational efficiency.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records and reports for returns, claims, repairs, restocking and pending cases.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with the Warehouse, E-commerce, Sales, Finance and Customer Service teams to resolve return-related issues smoothly.

Desired Candidate Profile Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Returns, E-commerce Operations, Warehouse Operations or Reverse Logistics.


• Hands-on experience with marketplace returns and claims, preferably on Amazon and other major marketplaces.

Knowledge and Skills

• Good understanding of RTO, RTV, Q-Commerce and reverse logistics processes.


• Strong knowledge of Excel/MIS and inventory/ERP systems.


• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with logistics and shipping partners.


• Ability to independently manage and streamline the complete returns function.
