Job Description - Sales Development Representative

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 750000 - Rs 950000 (ie INR 7.5-9.5 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Pune

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a driven and energetic Sales Representative to help accelerate growth in the HRTech and recruitment technology space. In this role, you will focus on outbound sales, client acquisition, and consultative selling to businesses looking to modernize and streamline their hiring processes.

You will play a key role in identifying potential customers, understanding their recruitment challenges, and presenting tailored solutions that create real business impact. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, emails, networking, and events
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for HR leaders and decision-makers
  • Understand client hiring pain points and recommend suitable recruitment technology solutions
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closure
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and sales targets
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns and customer feedback
  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage long-term engagement and business growth
  • Participate in webinars, industry events, and recruitment-focused networking activities
  • Stay updated on HRTech trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience or interest in B2B sales, SaaS sales, HRTech, or recruitment technology
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide consultative solutions
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive in driving business opportunities
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms, outbound sales tools, and LinkedIn for prospecting
  • Strong relationship-building and client management abilities
  • Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering customer value
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
