Job Description - Sales Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in the mining industry. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early -career professional eager to launch a career in B2B and B2C equipment sales within a high -impact industrial sector. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition, fostering long -term relationships, and supporting the sales lifecycle for specialized mining equipment and solutions. You will work closely with technical and field teams to understand customer needs, deliver tailored product presentations, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands -on experience in industrial sales, customer relationship management, and lead generation within a fast -paced, innovation -driven environment. Your performance will directly contribute to revenue growth, market expansion, and the successful deployment of cutting -edge mining technologies.


Responsibilities -
- Conduct cold calling and outbound outreach to generate qualified leads within the mining sector. 
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through B2B and B2C sales channels. 
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships using CRM tools to track interactions, follow -ups, and sales pipelines. 
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to mining operations and site -specific requirements. 
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to address customer inquiries and provide accurate, solution -oriented responses. 
- Gather customer feedback through surveys and direct engagement to improve product offerings and service delivery. 
- Support the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience. 
- Maintain accurate records in the customer CRM system, including contact details, communication history, and deal status. 
- Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events to expand market presence and network with key stakeholders. 
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and customer outreach.




Requirements

Requirements -
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). 
- 0–1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service, with a focus on B2B or B2C environments. 
- Proven ability to generate leads through cold calling, digital outreach, and networking. 
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and experience using tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms. 
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a customer -first mindset. 
- Proficiency in customer satisfaction techniques, including follow -up strategies and feedback collection. 
- Familiarity with equipment sales, particularly in industrial or heavy machinery sectors, is a plus. 
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast -paced environment. 
- Willingness to travel to mining sites, client locations, and industry events as needed.
