Job Description - Salesforce Architect

• Own the end -to -end architecture of our Salesforce ecosystem, including design, governance, and technical roadmap

• Lead solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations with our core SaaS product

• Define and enforce Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and deployment processes (CI/CD)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs

• Evaluate and recommend AppExchange products, custom development vs. configuration trade -offs, and platform limitations

• Design integration patterns between Salesforce and third -party systems (ERP, billing, data warehouses) using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools

• Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and admins

• Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality and performance

• Drive Salesforce org health — including technical debt reduction, security reviews, and release management

Requirements

Required:

• 6+ years of hands -on Salesforce experience, with at least 2–3 years in an architecture or technical lead role

• Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; experience with CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud is a strong plus

• Strong command of Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), SOQL, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder)

• Experience designing integrations with external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, MuleSoft, or similar middleware

• Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, governor limits, and multi -org strategies

• Familiarity with DevOps tools — Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent

• Active Salesforce certifications required — Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect preferred; additional certifications (Platform Developer II, CTA track) are a plus

• Strong communication skills — ability to present architecture decisions to both technical and non -technical audiences

Nice to Have

• Experience working at or with a B2B SaaS company

• Exposure to Revenue Cloud / CPQ configuration

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations relevant to India (DPDP Act) and global standards (GDPR)

• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
