Job Description:

Role Overview -

The META S&OP Analyst supports the META Planning Manager in driving the S&OP process across a large and diverse geography with varying levels of maturity. The role ensures standardization, governance, visibility, and continuous improvement of the end‑to‑end Demand, Supply, and Financial integration cycle. This position plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making, strengthening process adoption, and improving meeting effectiveness across the region.

Key Responsibilities -

1.S&OP Process Governance & Support

  • Assist the META Planning Manager in coordinating, and governing the monthly S&OP cycle across multiple countries and clusters.

  • Ensure alignment across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance, and Commercial teams.

  • Support preparation of pre-read materials, dashboards, and S&OP cycle summaries.

2. Meeting Cadence & Maturity Tracking

  • Track adherence to the S&OP meeting calendar and cadence across all markets.

  • Monitor and evaluate process maturity levels using established KPIs and maturity assessments.

  • Highlight gaps, delays, and risks, and drive corrective actions with customers.

3. Standardization & Best Practices

  • Design and maintain standardized meeting templates, agendas, and documentation to ensure consistency across markets with varying maturity levels.

  • Ensure all teams follow the agreed S&OP standards, templates, and tools.

  • Refresh templates and workflows as the process evolves.

4. Continuous Improvement & Change Management

  • Identify process inefficiencies and areas for optimization within the S&OP cycle.

  • Support pilots, new ways of working, tool enhancements, and automation initiatives.

  • Drive cross-country learning, best-practice sharing, and capability building.

5. Data Management & Insights

  • Prepare and validate monthly demand, supply, and performance reports.

  • Consolidate, analyze, and present key S&OP metrics (forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, inventory health, capacity risks).

  • Support scenario modelling and variance explanations as needed.

6. Participant Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Demand Managers, Supply Planners, Finance, and Commercial leaders to ensure high-quality inputs and outputs for S&OP meetings.

  • Support countries at lower maturity levels by educating, coaching, and guiding them through S&OP expectations and standards.

7. Technology, Systems & Tools

  • Support adoption and optimization of digital planning tools (Kinaxis Rapid Response).

  • Ensure accuracy and readiness of datasets for S&OP cycle checkpoints.

  • Coordinate minor system enhancement requests and user support.

8. Process & Governance Challenges driven from inconsistent maturity across market

  • Data & Analytics issues

  • Stakeholder & Culture

  • Time, Cadence & Coverage

Educational Background: Minimum Graduate or equivalent experience or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years relevant planning experience.

  • Strong analytical skills. (MS Office, BO, SAP etc)

  • Experience in supply planning, inventory management and/or S&OP/ demand planning/ forecasting

  • ERP & Planning Systems Acumen – preferably Kinaxis RapidRespons

  • Experience of working in matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders is desired

Other:

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis.

  • Well-developed skills in communication and influencing others.

  • Business English

Essential:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in planning roles

  • Flexibility of thought and action to be able to respond to changing market environments and dynamic business situations

  • Strong capability in process standardization, documentation, and template creation.

  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Understanding of cross-country complexity and operational differences.

  • Able to meet tight deadlines and face increasingly difficult situations with confidence and “can do attitude”.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and make judgements independently.

  • Able to run meetings and lead discussions in group environments.
