Job Description: SAP ABAP HR Consultant

Position Title: SAP ABAP HR Consultant / Senior Consultant / Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and driven SAP ABAP HR Consultant to join our technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, modify, and support technical solutions within the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and SuccessFactors ecosystem. You will act as the technical bridge, transforming functional HR business requirements into scalable, high -performance ABAP code, custom Infotypes, interfaces, and automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities (Core Across All Levels)

• Technical Development: Design and develop custom SAP HR technical objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
  

• HR Module Customization: Create and modify custom Infotypes and handle configurations spanning Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (PT), and Payroll (PY).
  

• Programming Techniques: Write clean, optimized code using Object -Oriented ABAP (OO -ABAP), Function Modules, BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, and enhancement frameworks.
  

• Integrations & Interfaces: Build and maintain data exchange mechanisms using ALE/IDocs, RFCs, BTP, and OData APIs to sync SAP HCM with SuccessFactors or non -SAP downstream systems.
  

• Forms Processing: Develop and upgrade complex HR documents and remuneration statements (salary slips) using Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
  

• Testing & Quality: Conduct strict unit testing, performance tuning, and structural debugging—especially regarding high -stress runtime processing like payroll schemas.
  

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  

• SAP HCM Core: Comprehensive understanding of standard HR data structures, cluster tables (PCL1, PCL2), and major transaction codes (PA30, PA40).
  

• Modern SAP Tech: Hands -on exposure to S/4HANA environments, AMDP, or ABAP Cloud paradigms is highly advantageous for senior levels.
  

• Problem Solving: Proven ability to debug complex macros and payroll functions efficiently under tight timelines.
