This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Associate Principal based in India.
This is a senior-level SAP leadership role focused on delivering complex, mission-critical enterprise cloud solutions for large-scale global customers. You will be responsible for guiding the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructures, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting, working closely with enterprise clients to translate business needs into scalable SAP architectures. You will also play a key role in shaping modernization initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and cloud transformation programs. In this environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and global partners to deliver high-impact enterprise solutions. This is a highly visible role with significant responsibility for driving innovation, operational excellence, and long-term customer success.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP enterprise solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, translating business requirements into scalable and secure SAP architectures.
- Oversee SAP S/4HANA transformation programs and other modernization initiatives across complex enterprise landscapes.
- Provide technical leadership in system integration, performance tuning, and solution architecture best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global technology partners to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and operational excellence for mission-critical SAP environments.
- Support pre-sales and consulting activities by contributing technical expertise and solution design guidance.
- Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in SAP delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP architecture, implementation, and administration within enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA and cloud/hybrid infrastructure models.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale, mission-critical SAP solutions.
- Strong understanding of system integration, performance optimization, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working in consulting or managed services environments is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor teams and drive technical excellence across projects.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments and partnerships (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus.
