Job Description & Summary

Experience

• 9+ years of overall SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Data Migration across Selective Data Transition (SDT), Brownfield (System Conversion), and Greenfield Implementations.
• Selective Data Transition (SDT): Proven experience with 2–3 end-to-end ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects using SNP tool, including:
  • Initial assessment, scoping, and feasibility studies.
  • Mock conversions and cutover rehearsals.
  • Full lifecycle execution covering functional and technical changes, module-specific and cross-functional business processes, mapping to new S/4HANA data models, and data migration execution.
• Brownfield (System Conversion): Hands-on delivery experience in 1–2 conversion projects, covering SUM/DMO migrations, post-SUM finance data model conversion, and data validation.
• SAP Data Services (BODS) expertise: Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using SAP Data Services and SAP Information Steward for data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and validation.
• Delivery experience with SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC, LTMOM) and knowledge of extending objects/custom fields.
• Strong delivery background in pre-load/post-load validations, dress rehearsals, cutover execution, and post go-live hypercare support.
• Skilled in IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and reconciliation frameworks (Trial Balance, stock valuation, record counts).

Functional Knowledge

• Understanding of Finance (FI/CO): General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Universal Journal.
• Understanding of Logistics (MM, WM/EWM, SD): Material Master, Inventory, Vendor, Customer, Sales/Distribution, Procurement.
• Understanding of Supply Chain: Stock balances, valuation, batch/serial management, warehouse/bin-level migration.
• Ability to map functional objects to technical migration rules (e.g., valuation class mapping, business partner conversion, classification data).

Tools & Approaches

• SNP (Selective Data Transition) tools – extensive hands-on across 2–3 end-to-end implementations.
• Brownfield Migration (SUM/DMO) – 1–2 system conversion projects.
• SAP Data Services (BODS) – ETL design, transformation, cleansing, enrichment.
• SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC, LTMOM) – loading, template design, field extensions.
• Exposure to SAP DMLT, Syniti and other 3rd-party accelerators.

Leadership & Advisory

• Strong advisory skills to engage with business stakeholders on data governance, harmonization, and migration strategy.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, establish migration frameworks, and drive CoE best practices across projects.
