SAP EWM Consultant S/4HANA

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced SAP EWM Consultants with strong functional and configuration expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) on S/4HANA. Candidates must have hands-on experience in warehouse management processes, implementation, configuration, and support.

Mandatory: Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Participate in SAP EWM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Configure inbound and outbound warehouse processes, putaway, picking, and warehouse movements.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage warehouse structure, storage types, storage bins, warehouse tasks, warehouse orders, and wave management.

  
  


• 
  

  Work on Handling Unit (HU) management, RF framework, physical inventory, and yard management.

  
  


• 
  

  Configure EWM master data, including products, packaging specifications, resources, and work centers.

  
  


• 
  

  Support SAP EWM integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, and TM.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams for custom developments.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshoot functional issues and support go-live and post-implementation stabilization.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize warehouse processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead solution design, workshops, and implementation activities for senior and lead-level positions.

  
  

Mandatory Skills

• 
  

  4–15 years of relevant SAP EWM experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM on S/4HANA.

  
  


• 
  

  Mandatory experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong configuration knowledge of inbound/outbound processes, putaway, picking, HU management, RF transactions, and physical inventory.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in SAP EWM implementation, rollout, or support projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, or TM.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  
  

Experience-Based Requirements

SAP EWM Consultant – 4–7 Years

• 
  

  Hands-on EWM configuration and support experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, and HU processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Exposure to at least one implementation or rollout project preferred.

  
  

Senior SAP EWM Consultant – 8–11 Years

• 
  

  Strong end-to-end SAP EWM implementation experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Preferably two end-to-end implementations, including S/4HANA EWM.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to independently handle solution design, configuration, integration, and testing.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working directly with business stakeholders.

  
  

Lead SAP EWM Consultant – 12–15 Years

• 
  

  Strong expertise in EWM solution architecture and end-to-end implementations.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lead functional design, workshops, configuration strategy, and integration discussions.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing stakeholders, guiding teams, and resolving complex warehouse process issues.
