Scada engineer and Lead Mechatronics engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechatronics Engineer to drive and support engineering activities within our New Product Development (NPD) team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electro-mechanical product development for consumer appliances such as Mixer Grinders, Chimneys, Cooktops, Air Fryers, and other home appliances. This role requires close collaboration with Product Development, Industrial Design, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Quality, Manufacturing teams, as well as external vendors and component suppliers to deliver innovative, reliable, and high-quality products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 9jngv the design, development, and integration of electro-mechanical systems throughout the product development lifecycle.
  


• Develop and validate actuation systems, motors, sensors, and control mechanisms used in consumer appliances.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems.
  


• Participate in concept generation, prototyping, testing, design verification, and validation activities.
  


• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for component development, qualification, testing, and cost optimization.
  


• Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  


• Support DFMEA, PFMEA, reliability studies, root cause analysis, and risk assessment activities.
  


• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of NPD best practices.
  


• Support product industrialization, manufacturing readiness, and smooth transition from development to production.
  


• Work closely with quality and manufacturing teams to resolve product performance and reliability issues.
  


• Contribute to innovation initiatives and next-generation product development programs.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  


• 8–10 years of experience in electro-mechanical product development, preferably in consumer appliances or durable products.

• Good understanding of embedded systems, controllers, and hardware interfaces.
  


• Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent.
  


• Familiarity with electrical circuits, wiring systems, and basic electronics.
  


• Experience in prototype development, product testing, validation, and performance optimization.
  


• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding, sheet metal stamping, tooling, and assembly operations.
  


• Strong understanding of New Product Development (NPD) methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  


• Experience in design validation, reliability testing, failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  


• Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, Design Reviews, and Quality Engineering practices.
  


• Exposure to consumer appliances such as Mixer Grinders, Chimneys, Cooktops, Air Fryers, or similar products is highly preferred.
  


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
