Scrum Master

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices across cross-functional teams within a healthcare environment. The Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader, helping teams deliver high-quality healthcare technology solutions by fostering collaboration, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience working on healthcare applications, understand healthcare workflows and compliance requirements, and possess working knowledge of SQL to support data-driven discussions and collaboration with technical teams.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.


• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.


• Remove obstacles that may impact team productivity and sprint goals.


• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.


• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.


• Track sprint progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, and sprint predictability.


• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments.


• Collaborate with development, QA, business analysts, architects, and healthcare stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.


• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.


• Support Agile transformation initiatives and mentor teams adopting Agile practices.

  Use SQL to assist in validating data, analyzing issues, supporting reporting, and facilitating discussions with technical teams when needed.

  
  

   

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.


• Experience working in the healthcare domain, including healthcare applications, payer, provider, clinical, or electronic health record (EHR) systems.


• Strong understanding of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and Lean practices.


• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data.


• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.


• Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
