This role focuses on security architecture, risk assessment, and advisory support, working closely with technical architects and internal teams to ensure that security requirements are embedded early in the design lifecycle and aligned with global standards and the evolving threat landscape.\n\n## What you will do\n\n * Conduct information security risk assessments across cloud, data centre, and application environments.\n * Provide security architecture guidance and technical design recommendations to internal teams during the design and build phases.\n * Evaluate business requirements and proposed technical designs to identify risks, define secure alternatives, and recommend optimal security solutions.\n * Apply recognised security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 31001, NIST, CIS, SANS, and NIST SP 800-53.\n * Support secure development practices aligned with OWASP \u201cSecurity by Design\u201d principles.\n * Assess and advise on perimeter security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network security solutions.\n * Monitor and interpret the global threat landscape, including advanced persistent threats, to inform risk-based decisions.\n * Create clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate security posture, trends, and performance to stakeholders.\n * Collaborate across teams, influencing outcomes through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\n * An information security professional with 5\u20138 years of IT experience, including strong exposure to perimeter security, network engineering, and security management.\n * Experienced in information security risk assessment across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle), data centres, and applications.\n * Knowledgeable in security principles, protocols, and technologies such as PKI, SSL, IKEv1 \u0026 v2, sandboxing, and cloud security controls.\n * Familiar with global security frameworks and assurance models, with working knowledge of NIST SP 800-37 and COBIT 5 considered an advantage.\n * Aware of data privacy and information protection requirements, including GDPR.\n * Comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments, with the ability to structure problems and develop practical, innovative solutions.\n * Telco industry experience is advantageous.\n * Professional certifications such as CCNA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001, or ISO 31001 are desirable.\n\n\n\n## Not a Perfect Fit?\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
