Role Title: ISMS Audit & Compliance Specialist (ISO 27001 & VDA ISA)

Location: Pune

Experience: 12–15 Years

Purpose of the Role:

To lead and execute ISMS audits, compliance assessments, and audit readiness initiatives aligned with ISO 27001 and VDA ISA frameworks, ensuring effective governance, risk management, and continuous improvement of security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ISMS Audit & Compliance

• Conduct internal and external audits aligned to ISO 27001 and VDA ISA


• Perform VDA ISA assessments and maturity evaluations


• Ensure compliance with applicable automotive and OEM standards

    2.Audit Readiness & Evidence Management

• Maintain a structured audit evidence repository aligned to control requirements


• Define and validate evidence quality for audit defensibility


• Support audit readiness planning and execution

    3.Risk Management

• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans


• Maintain risk registers and track treatment actions


• Align risk management practices with the ISMS framework

1. Policy & Control Governance

• Develop, review, and update ISMS policies and procedures


• Identify gaps against ISO 27001 and VDA ISA frameworks and drive remediation activities

    5.Audit Findings & Closure

• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations


• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)


• Track closure of audit findings with relevant stakeholders

    6.Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with IT, Security, HR, and business teams


• Define ownership for ISMS controls and audit actions


• Support governance reviews and audit discussions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in ISO 27001 audits and ISMS implementation


• Hands-on exposure to VDA ISA assessments


• Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks


• Experience in audit evidence management and CAPA tracking


• Good stakeholder management and communication skills


• Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer are preferred
