Job Description: Senior Accounts Officer

Role Summary

A reputed luxurious resort at Ramnagar is looking for
an experienced and responsible Senior Accounts Officer to manage the
accounting and financial operations of the property.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge
of GST, taxation, auditing, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting
operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate
financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with auditors
and management, and supporting the smooth functioning of the resort's finance
and accounts department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage
  day-to-day accounting operations of the resort.
  
• Maintain
  accurate books of accounts and financial records.
  
• Handle GST, TDS, taxation, and other statutory compliance activities.
  
• Prepare
  and review GST-related returns, reconciliations, and supporting
  documentation.
  
• Coordinate
  and assist with internal and external audits.
  
• Prepare
  financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
  
• Handle
  accounts payable and receivable activities.
  
• Perform
  bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
  
• Monitor
  expenses, revenues, outstanding payments, and receivables.
  
• Coordinate
  with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding financial
  matters.
  
• Ensure
  proper documentation and accounting of all financial transactions.
  
• Coordinate
  with management regarding financial reporting and accounting requirements.
  
• Ensure
  compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and
  internal financial policies.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's
  degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  
• Strong
  practical knowledge of GST, Taxation, TDS, and Audit is mandatory.
  
• Prior
  experience in the hospitality / hotel / resort industry will be preferred.
  
• Good
  knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
  
• Strong
  analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent
  attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability
  to independently handle accounting and compliance-related
  responsibilities.
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000–₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
