Your Team

The Invesco Municipal Bond team manages over $63B in dedicated municipal strategies, making the team the 5th largest municipal bond manager globally. The team focuses on finding unique investment opportunities by combining experience-based knowledge with market trends to uncover and exploit relative value opportunities. The Municipal Bond Product team is responsible for core collateral, related deliverables and key product initiatives supporting the team’s strategies: 15 open-end mutual funds, 10 closed-end funds, and two ETFs.

The Role

The analyst will support the Invesco Municipal Bond Product team by assisting with various deliverables throughout the quarter-end and month-end cycles. This position requires advanced computer skills, attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment with the ability to make tight deadlines.

• Support month- and quarter-end product collateral update process.
• Provide support for product managers, including the assistance with Powerpoint presentations, Excel-based client reports, and other activities related to marketing materials.
• Run and analyze performance attribution and portfolio positioning reports on existing municipal strategies.
• Review DDQs, RFIs, and home office requests for materials and data using team approved language.
• Review materials against various internal reports for accuracy.
• Assist with annual shareholder report process.
• Update new and existing team member biographies as needed.
• Provide data for institutional client reports.
• Ad hoc projects and requests.

The Experience you bring

• 4 – 8 years of related experience in financial services; fixed income asset class experience preferrable.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and use of Bloomberg
• A strong work ethic, pursuit of delivering timely, accurate and high-quality content.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on continuous improvement and willingness to learn, embrace and lead change, determination to find creative solutions to problems.
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal; good people and interpersonal skills.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or an equivalent certificate in Finance, Accounting, Management or a related field.
