As a Senior Application Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability and smooth operation of key applications that support business functions. You will be instrumental in managing incident resolution, performing root cause analysis, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers a hybrid work model with rotational shift support, enabling flexibility while ensuring 24/7 application availability. Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support and manage production incidents within SLAs.


• Handle Incident, Problem, and Major Incident Management activities.


• Perform proactive monitoring and participate in on-call support and incident escalation.


• Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.


• Conduct impact analysis and implement standard changes in production.


• Coordinate communication during major incidents and maintain operational documentation.


• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical incidents.


• Identify and implement improvement opportunities and automation initiatives.


• Create and track vendor support tickets and coordinate issue resolution with vendors.


• Support CI/CD pipeline activities and collaborate on release management.


• Use automation tools to improve deployment and operational processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.


• 5-7 years of experience in Application Maintenance & Support (AMS).


• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.


• Experience in production support with strict SLAs.


• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


• Proficient in Python, Node.js, Docker, Git, Visual Studio Code.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and DevOps practices.


• Familiarity with industrial/communication tools such as SIOME and UAExpert.


• Skilled in application monitoring, log analysis, incident troubleshooting, and production support.


• ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).


• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (preferred).


• Knowledge of industrial automation, OPC UA, or related technologies (preferred).


• Experience working in Agile environments (preferred).
