Senior Associate - Accounts Payable, Treasury & Banking

Accounts Payable & Banking Relations will be responsible for managing end-to-end payable operations, vendor payments, cash management, banking relationships, treasury activities, and related financial controls. The role will ensure timely processing of payments, optimal cash utilization, strong banking partnerships, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. 

Accounts Payable Management 

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, vendor reconciliation, and expense management. 
  
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and statutory payments. 
  
• Monitor AP aging and ensure payments are made in accordance with agreed contractual terms. 
  
• Review and strengthen controls around payment processing and approval workflows. 
  
• Resolve vendor queries and maintain strong supplier relationships. 
  
• Monitor compliance with procurement policies, delegation of authority (DOA), and internal controls. 
  

Cash Management & Treasury 

• Monitor daily cash positions and fund availability across group entities and bank accounts. 
  
• Plan and execute fund transfers to optimize liquidity and meet operational requirements. 
  
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management initiatives. 
  
• Ensure efficient utilization of banking facilities and treasury resources. 
  

Banking Relationships 

• Act as the primary point of contact for banking partners across jurisdictions. 
  
• Manage banking operations including account opening/closure, KYC documentation, signatory updates, and banking mandates. 
  
• Negotiate banking fees, service levels, and treasury products to achieve cost efficiencies. 
  
• Evaluate and implement banking solutions for collections, payments, cash management, and foreign exchange requirements. 
  
• Coordinate with banks on loans, guarantees, corporate cards, and other banking facilities. 
  

Foreign Exchange & Funding Support 

• Monitor foreign currency transactions and support foreign exchange risk management activities. 
  
• Coordinate cross-border fund movements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. 
  
• Assist in managing funding requirements and banking facilities. 
  

Controls, Compliance & Reporting 

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements relating to payments and banking operations. 
  
• Prepare management reports on cash balances, payment cycles, vendor metrics, and banking activities. 
  
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reconciliation. 
  
• Maintain accurate records of banking arrangements, guarantees, and treasury transactions. 
  

Process Improvement & Automation 

• Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within AP and treasury functions. 
  
• Improve payment turnaround times, reporting efficiency, and control mechanisms. 
  
• Develop and maintain SOPs for accounts payable and banking operations. 
  
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness. 
  

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, Banking Operations, or Finance Operations. 
  
• Experience managing banking relationships and multi-entity payment operations. 
  
• Exposure to multinational organizations and cross-border banking environments preferred. 
  
• Technical Skills 
  
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Banking Operations. 
  
• Cash management and working capital management experience. 
  
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics. 
  
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills. 
  
• Understanding of banking products, foreign exchange, and treasury controls. 
  
• Timely processing of vendor and employee payments.  
  
• AP aging maintained within approved payment terms.  
  
• Accuracy and timeliness of cash position reporting.  
  
• Effective management of banking relationships and service levels.  
  
• Zero payment control failures or significant compliance issues.  
  
• Improvement in payment cycle efficiency and process automation.  
  
• Optimization of cash utilization and working capital management.
