As a Senior Associate in Sourcing & Procurement Modernization, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing procurement strategies through technology transformation and cost reduction initiatives. Within our Operations practice, you will focus on enhancing sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, foster supplier collaboration, and strengthen supply chain resilience. You will work closely with clients to analyze sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and develop strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to manage complex client engagements, mentor junior team members, and uphold professional standards. You will be responsible for building meaningful client relationships, navigating complex situations, and growing your personal brand. Your role will involve anticipating client needs, delivering quality solutions, and embracing ambiguity to foster growth and development.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with project teams to support global engagements, conduct analyses, prepare models, and design processes. You will facilitate meetings, organize recommendations, and participate in business development activities. Responsibilities
- Analyzing client needs to develop operational strategies for optimizing sourcing and procurement processes
- Collaborating with clients to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization
- Developing strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness through digital solutions
- Conducting analyses and preparing insights to support global engagements and organizational transformation
- Preparing work plans and designing to-be processes to streamline procurement operations
- Facilitating meetings to enable decision-making and organizing recommendations on client issues
- Leading procurement project delivery and managing execution against key performance indicators
- Acting as a liaison between stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement teams to drive influence through actionable insights
- Configuring and troubleshooting GEP RESTful APIs and flat file-based integrations for data management
- Designing technical logic for solution development and enhancement in procurement systems
- Supporting project leads in new business development, thought leadership, and firm-building activities
- Providing insights and recommendations for process efficiencies and procurement modernization
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with GEP Procure-to-Pay platform implementation
- Understanding of GEP spend and commodity taxonomies
- Developing solutions using service-oriented architecture patterns
- Facilitating application integration architecture discussions
- Utilizing middleware platforms like GEP Click and Dell Boomi
- Analyzing complex procurement challenges and strategic decision-making
- Excelling in communication with stakeholders and suppliers
