Job Description - Senior Associate Business Analyst, Distributed Systems

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Translating business requirements into detailed functional specs for smart contracts and blockchain applications.
Use Case Identification: Evaluating, identifying, and proposing blockchain use cases, such as in DeFi, NFTs, or L2/ZK rollups.
Documentation: Developing and maintaining documentation, including user stories, process models, and functional specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating communication between non-technical stakeholders and technical developers (QA, devs).
Risk & Regulatory Assessment: Evaluating risks related to smart contract security and compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.
Project Management: Supporting project management via agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Key Requirements & Skills
Experience: Previous experience as a Business Analyst, typically with 1-3+ years focused in blockchain, Web3, or Fintech environments.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polkadot), distributed ledger technologies (DLT), and smart contract development workflows.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into efficient blockchain solutions.
Tools: Familiarity with documentation tools like Confluence, JIRA, and diagramming tools.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
