Job Description - Senior Business Developer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 7 years

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, Telangana, Hyderabad

JobType: full-time

We are seeking an Associate Lead – Business Development professional to contribute to and drive growth within banking and fintech partnerships.

This position will collaborate closely with the senior business development lead to oversee relationships, assist in deal execution, and facilitate coordination among internal teams.

The role demands a solid understanding of the banking and fintech ecosystem, coupled with practical experience working alongside banking institutions.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and adept at managing both relationship building and execution in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Partnership Support

Discover and assist in pursuing new business opportunities within the banking and fintech industries.

Establish and nurture relationships with banks, fintech partners, and clients.

Facilitate the growth of partnerships and collaborative initiatives.

2. Deal Execution & Coordination

Assist throughout the entire deal process, including negotiations, follow-ups, and documentation management.

Collaborate closely with the senior business development lead on enterprise and strategic agreements.

Ensure opportunities are executed and closed in a timely manner.

3. Client Interaction & Requirement Understanding

Comprehend client needs and business use cases thoroughly.

Engage in discussions, demonstrations, and presentations of solutions.

Guarantee alignment between client expectations and the company's offerings.

4. Internal Coordination & Execution

Work in close coordination with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Ensure seamless collaboration for onboarding and executing partnerships.

Monitor progress and keep updated records of all ongoing deals.

5. Market Research & Insights

Remain informed about the latest trends in banking, fintech, and the digital ecosystem.

Identify new opportunities and gather competitive intelligence.

Contribute relevant insights to support go-to-market strategies.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

Experience collaborating with multiple banks or fintech organizations.

Background in enterprise or B2B partnership environments.

Experience working in startups or product-oriented companies.
