Description
The Senior Consultant – SAP S/4HANA SD will join Bristlecone India's S4 HANA Functional – Delivery team to drive high‑impact SD implementations. You will work closely with clients, architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust S/4HANA solutions, ensuring seamless integration, data migration, and post‑go‑live support across diverse industry verticals.

Responsibilities

Lead functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) modules for brownfield and greenfield projects.
Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure end‑to‑end integration with MM, FI, and other SAP modules.
Perform data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
Develop and execute test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT) and support defect resolution.
Provide on‑site and remote support during go‑live and hypercare phases.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
Participate in pre‑sales activities, such as solution demos and proposal development.
Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA roadmap and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD functional consulting.
Proven delivery experience in both brownfield (system conversion) and greenfield (new implementation) projects.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and logistics.
Experience with integration points to MM, FI, and other SAP modules.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a client‑focused mindset.
Effective communication and presentation abilities in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global delivery team.
Relevant SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
