Senior Engineer - SSQ Team

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure supplier quality compliance as per company standards and specifications.
  

• Conduct supplier audits, inspections, and process evaluations.
  

• Review supplier CAPA and 8D reports and ensure effective closure.
  

• Support incoming quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  

• Coordinate with suppliers for process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
  

Requirements

Qualification:

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Power Transformer industry (mandatory)
  

Industry Preference:

• Power Transformer industry only
  

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Commodity & Manufacturing Process Knowledge:

• Knowledge of various commodities including machined ferrous and non -ferrous parts, sheet metal components, welded parts, and castings.
  

• Understanding of surface treatment processes such as:
  

  • Silver Plating
    

  • Zinc Plating
    

  • Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG)
    

  • Heat Treatment
    

  • Nitriding
    

Quality Systems & Supplier Management:

• Experience in handling measuring instruments.
  

• Strong knowledge of CAPA and 8D problem -solving methodologies.
  

• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  

• Experience in conducting supplier audits and follow -up of corrective actions.
