Requirements

Your
Role as Engineer,

Is to build and implement machine learning models to replace several workflows/rule
engines of Apple Maps.
Build algorithms and models on the various types of data ( GIS, Locations, text, images,
routes) to derive decisions.
Implementing spatial, statistical, geographical algorithms on huge sets of data.

Skills
Requirements (Some or all of them – because we believe intelligent people can
pick up whatever they need in a short period of time. You just need to prove
that you can.):

3 to 5 years of experience
on Traditional ML or DL knowledge
Experience in programming using
python or spark lib
Good understanding of ML
libraries like Python, Scikit learn, Tensor flow, Pytorch, Spakr MLib
Experience working on Text
& Image problem types
Experience in deploying
model to production end to end or understanding towards it

Good to have knowledge on

Geometry
and understating towards spatial algorithms like OPTICS, DBSCAN,
Kernel density functions using kernels like bisquare or gaussian
How to
determine spatial relation between data points, geographically weighted
algorithms
How to implement a ML
algorithm distributedly
How to train a model
distributedly

Education – Any good
educational institute or an institute you want to be the one who builds a reputation
for.
