Senior Executive - Civil Site Engineer

Purpose Of Role
To support on -site
execution by ensuring day -to -day activities are carried out strictly as per
drawings, instructions, and project schedules.

The role is responsible
for on -ground supervision, coordination, quality adherence, measurement,
reporting, and interface management with all stakeholders including host
institute, ensuring uninterrupted site progress.

Key Responsibilities ​

1. Site Execution &
Work Monitoring

• Execute
  and supervise civil works as per drawings and instructions from senior
  project staff
  
• Monitor
  ongoing site activities including demolition, RCC, masonry, plastering,
  flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works
  
• Ensure
  execution strictly follows approved drawings, specifications, and site
  instructions
  
• Track
  daily work progress and manpower deployment at assigned work fronts
  

2. Quality Control &
Technical Compliance

• Conduct
  routine site -level checks for workmanship quality and execution accuracy
  
• Verify
  levels, alignment, finishing, and material usage during execution
  
• Ensure
  immediate rectification of defects and deviations at site level
  
• Maintain
  compliance with technical specifications and quality standards provided by
  project team
  

3. Coordination

• Coordinate
  with contractors, supervisors, vendors, and site workforce for smooth
  execution
  
• Support
  coordination between civil and MEP activities as per site requirements
  
• Ensure
  availability of drawings, instructions, and work fronts for execution
  continuity
  
• Liaise
  and coordinate with host institute representatives at site for
  access, permissions, inspections, and site -related requirements
  
• Communicate
  site constraints and coordination issues to reporting authority
  

4. Material & Site
Readiness Support

• Monitor
  material availability and ensure work is not disrupted due to shortages
  
• Check
  receipt and basic quality condition of incoming materials at site
  
• Inform
  procurement/site team regarding material requirements in advance
  
• Ensure
  proper storage, handling, and usage of materials at site
  

5. Measurements, Billing
& Documentation

• Take
  accurate site measurements for executed work
  
• Maintain
  measurement records for billing and verification purposes
  
• Assist
  in checking contractor bills based on site execution
  
• Maintain
  daily site records including progress updates and execution notes as
  required
  

6. Reporting, Safety
& Site Discipline

• Submit
  daily site progress updates including manpower, work status, and site
  issues
  
• Report
  delays, risks, and site requirements to reporting authority promptly
  
• Ensure
  adherence to safety practices and use of PPE at site
  
• Maintain
  discipline, cleanliness, and organized working conditions at site
  

Requirements

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Strong
  understanding of civil construction methods and site execution
  
• Ability
  to read architectural and structural drawings
  
• Practical
  knowledge of BOQ and measurement techniques
  
• Hands -on
  site supervision and coordination capability
  
• Ability
  to work with multiple agencies in a fast -moving site environment
  
• Strong
  execution -focused and detail -oriented mindset
  

• Diploma
  / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  
• 5–10 years of site execution experience
  
• Preference
  for institutional / renovation / retrofit project experience
  

• Fully
  site -based, execution -driven role with PAN India travel requirement
  across project locations
  
• Focus
  on continuous site progress, coordination, and disciplined daily reporting
  
• Maintains
  high level of integrity, site discipline, and accountability in
  execution activities
