Senior Executive, Mechanical Engineering

Description:

The role is responsible for engineering operations across the organization with independent responsibility for mechanical systems, equipment, and production support infrastructure in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role ensures quality, safety, reliability, cost, timeliness, and performance standards are consistently met through effective operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical systems. It interprets engineering plans, drawings, layouts, and specifications, analyzes quality and safety test results, and ensures compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory standards. The position supports technical, functional, cost, and schedule targets, contributes to validation and audit readiness, and drives continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated production environment.

Essential Functions:

• Independently operate and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Interpret and implement mechanical drawings, layouts, and P&IDs
• Support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance and reliability data
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and maintenance records
• Support qualification, validation, and audit readiness activities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and support vendor execution
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Additional Responsibilities:

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Having  8 years of experience in the Mechanical Engineering field in Pharma API.

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) B.Tech - Required

• Master Degree (MS/MA) M.Tech - Preferred

• 5 years or more in 5 - 8 Years
