Senior Fitout Draftsman

Key Requirements

• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements, design concepts, and fit-out objectives.
  


• Prepare detailed fit-out drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documentation.
  


• Develop accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant drafting software.
  


• Review and interpret architectural, engineering, and design drawings to produce coordinated fit-out documentation.
  


• Incorporate design revisions and modifications into drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
  


• Prepare shop drawings, joinery details, material schedules, and related technical documentation.
  


• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain technical information and ensure drawing accuracy.
  


• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions, gather measurements, and assess existing site conditions.
  


• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.
  


• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
  


• Support project teams with material take-offs, cost estimates, and construction-related documentation when required.
  


• Stay updated with the latest fit-out drafting techniques, software advancements, and industry best practices.
