Position Summary

Highly skilled delivery lead with 12+ years of experience with experience in cloud and reporting projects. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years experience in Pharma commercial domain working with commercial data set s such as SP data, IQVIA/SHA sales, claims datasets, Veeva etc. The role will include driving technology implementation projects end to end coordinating with clients to get reuqirements and ensure perfect delivery working with internal technical and business teams. Knowledge/experience of Gen AI projects would be a bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective cloud solutions and data models to store and retrieve data. 


• Hands on experience in the design of reporting schemas, data marts and development of reporting solutions.


• Technology Leadership – Independently he/she should be able to architect, design, implement deliver complex Databases/Data Warehousing/Data Lake, Data Integration and BI/Reporting Solutions.Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop value-added data driven solutions, frameworks and reporting solutions.


• Architecture/Technical Design and Development – Expertise in any 2 ETL tools (Informatica, Databircks), and cloud-based technologies like AWS/Azure is mandatory.


• Lead requirements gathering and research, proposes technology solutions, and develops solutions within agreed upon timelines. Understand the underlying data and flow of data.


• Expert knowledge of SQL with the capability to performance tune complex SQL queries in tradition and distributed RDDMS systems is must.


• Hands on experience on any of  Python, PySpark and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.


• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication and other distributed data issues


• Create and maintain project plans


• Team management : planning, grooming, upskilling, motivation and career growth


• Impact assessment, incident/problem management, change request estimation and implementation


• SLA management and tracking


• Client engagement including requirements management, user acceptance


• Coordinate with different internal stakeholders to bring in right expertise 

Education

Work Experience

• Overall, 12+ years of rich experience in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Domain.


• Should have expertise and working experience in at least 2 DBMS/appliances among Redshift, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle.


• Should be able to handle a mid size team


• Should have strong Data Warehousing, Reporting and Data Integration fundamentals.


• Advanced expertise with SQL


• Working knowledge of Data modelling and Key reporting KPIs used in pharma commercial reporting


• Experience on AWS/Azure cloud data stores and it’s DB/DW related service offerings.


• Should have technical expertise and/or working experience in at least 2 Reporting tools among Power BI, Tableau, Jasper soft and QlikView/QlikSense
