Senior Manager

To safeguard KBL’s interests by managing a diverse portfolio of domestic and international industrial contracts and overseeing complex litigation strategies, including trademark disputes, shareholder matters, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

Drafting & Negotiation: Lead the legal review and negotiation of high-value industrial contracts, including EPC contracts, supply agreements (e.g., thermal pump projects), and joint venture agreements.

Tender Support

Provide legal vetting for government and private tender documents, ensuring compliance with bid conditions and mitigating long-term liability.

Standardization: Develop and maintain standard contract templates for vendors, distributors, and service providers to ensure company-wide consistency.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Settlement (DFS), trademark ownership with KPL, and SEBI regulatory challenges.

Arbitration: Represent the company or coordinate with external counsel in domestic and international arbitration proceedings for commercial and labor disputes.

External Counsel Management: Select, brief, and monitor the performance of external law firms and senior advocates representing KBL in various courts.

Intellectual Property & Compliance

Brand Protection: Execute procedures to protect the "Kirloskar" trademark and other industrial designs from infringement.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with SEBI LODR, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.

Risk Mitigation: Advise senior management on potential legal risks in business decisions and provide strategic solutions.
