Black & Grey HR is hiring for a leading textile manufacturing and export company with a strong production footprint and global market presence. Our client is looking for a Senior Manager â Dyeing to lead dye-house operations, ensure quality and on-time delivery of dyed yarns, and drive process improvements, cost optimization, and team development within the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end dyeing operations for sample and bulk production, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Manage dyeing processes across various fibers, ensuring shade consistency, process efficiency, and minimal rework.
- Analyze dyeing defects and re-dyeing trends, implementing corrective actions to improve quality and productivity.
- Establish and enhance dyeing SOPs, process controls, and best practices across the department.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through process optimization, waste reduction, and improved chemical utilization.
- Evaluate new dyes, chemicals, and dyeing techniques to enhance operational performance.
- Lead, train, and develop dye-house teams to strengthen technical capabilities and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with planning, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow and equipment reliability.
- Monitor key operational metrics and prepare reports for management review.
Requirements
- Degree in Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in yarn dyeing operations within a textile manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of dyeing processes, dyestuff chemistry, and fiber behavior across wool, cotton, polyester, and silk.
- Experience in hank dyeing is highly preferred; carpet yarn or specialty yarn dyeing experience is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of managing shop-floor teams, improving processes, and reducing operational costs.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
