Job Description - Senior Manager (F&A) - Audit

The incumbent shall be responsible for all operational Finance & Accounts activities for companies/ project SPVs including accounts payable, statutory compliance, insurance and investment operations as well as maintaining books of accounts as per defined accounting norms.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with set accounting and reporting standards as well as governance norms defined by the CFO to ensure transparency, timeliness and accuracy of accounting for respective projects/ SPVs.
Ensure adherence to statutory compliances as well as proper and up -to -date documentation of all books of accounts, reports, lease and revenue contracts, etc. for respective projects.
Responsible for finalization of accounts for respective projects by ensuring all necessary procedures are completed.
Prepare the books of accounts for each SPV/ project including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, Annexures to the Balance Sheet and Notes to Accounts.
Responsible for timely processing of vendor/ contractor/ supplier/ architect bills for respective projects ensuring all functional procedures are adhered.
Ensure adherence to the defined Audit Plan (for internal and external audits) for respective projects/ SPVs.
Ensure that all audit findings are communicated to the Senior Management in line with the defined reporting norms.
Ensure compliance with all findings/ recommendations from internal/ external audits.
Ensure correct and timely bank and cash reconciliation including verification of bank charges and interests for respective projects.
Ensure all statutory payments (TDS, VAT, Service Tax, PF, etc.) are made every month as per defined timelines.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience :

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in the Real Estate Industry.

Special Skills/Attributes

(required for performing the job effectively)

Knowledge of Regulatory Framework
Statutory/ Regulatory Compliance Management
Knowledge of Financial Analysis & Control Frameworks and techniques
Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Systems (including IFRS)
