Job Description - Senior Manager, SAP ABAP

Description

Lead SAP ABAP development teams across multiple modules (SD, MM, QM, EWM, FI/CO, PP, etc.)
Define and enforce coding standards, performance optimization, and extensibility best practices
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Drive design, development, and deployment of ABAP objects, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori integration
Ensure compliance with pharma industry regulations (GxP, FDA, SOX) and IT audit requirements
Manage delivery timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
Oversee integration with middleware platforms (SAP CPI/PI, third-party systems)
Provide technical leadership in S/4HANA transformation programs, including upgrades and migrations
Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university (any discipline)
14 to 17 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
