Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Representative to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth in the assigned territory.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators
  • Conduct product presentations and educational sessions to promote our pharmaceutical portfolio
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify new business opportunities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and territories effectively
  • Attend medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and network with industry professionals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and expenses using CRM software

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or related field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends and regulations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai and surrounding areas
