Senior NodeJS Engineer

  responsibilities:
  

• Extensive experience designing, building, and operating production Node.js services in TypeScript
  

• Deep understanding of the Node.js runtime, including event-loop behavior, profiling, and performance tuning
  

• Experience designing event-driven systems with Kafka: partitioning, ordering guarantees, idempotent processing, dead-letter queues
  

• Experience with zero-downtime database schema migrations and query/connection-pool tuning under load
  

• Experience with distributed tracing and observability (OpenTelemetry, Datadog), including defining SLOs and error budgets
  

• Strong knowledge of API security, including OWASP API Top 10 and OAuth2/OIDC flows
  

• Experience leading technical design and incident response for services in production
  

• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable,and efficient code.
  

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
  

• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
  

• Collaborating
  with front-end developers on the integration of
  elements.
  
• Designing
  customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business
  processes.
  
• Implementing
  effective security protocols, data protection measures, and
  storage solutions.
  
• Running
  diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical
  support.
  
• Documenting
  Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as
  preparing reports.
  
• Recommending
  and implementing improvements to processes and
  technologies.
  
• Keeping
  informed of advancements in the field of Node.js
  development.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's
  degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
  field.
  
  
• 5+ years of
  experience as a backend or full-stack developer with a focus
  on Node.js.
  
  
• Strong
  knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js, with
  experience in building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with
  frameworks such as Express.js or Koa.
  
  
• Experience
  with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL,
  MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  
  
• Understanding
  of server-side templating languages, front-end
  technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks
  (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of version
  control systems, such as Git.
  
  
• Experience
  with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and
  containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong
  problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced
  environment.
