Job Description - Senior Operations Associate


The Operations team is our embedded execution engine for critical cross -functional problems that don't have a natural owner. We diagnose, implement, and hand off durable systems so the company doesn't have to solve the same administrative problem twice.

We are seeking a high -ownership execution machine, ideally from a management consulting or startup operations background, to build our internal systems across HR, finance, compliance, and legal. You’ll be the core operations execution person working directly with the COO and Finance Head.

This is a broad, high -ownership role where you will build the company's internal operating system from scratch by proactively managing trackers, consultants, and clean documentation across HR, compliance, finance, and legal to ensure zero operational gaps.



Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations: 

  • Manage hiring coordination including job postings, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, offer letters, joining formalities, and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave records, HR files, internal trackers, and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate payroll including attendance, leaves, reimbursements, salary changes, deductions, and supporting documents.
  • Support PMS, performance review cycles, appraisal documentation, employee confirmations, policy communication, and HR process implementation.
  • Handle employee exits, clearance documentation, asset handover, and final settlement coordination.

Finance & Basic Accounting Support:

  • Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping, including vendor invoices, expenses, reimbursements, journal entries, and payment reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized repositories for vendor master data, purchase records, assets, and admin -related records.
  • Prepare data inputs and manage documentation for payroll, PT, TDS, GST, and other related compliances.
  • Create and update internal trackers to monitor company -wide operations and financial output.
Statutory, Labour & Factory Compliance:
  • Manage up -to -date Compliance trackers for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishment, and other related acts.
  • Maintain all workplace registers, statutory notices, licenses, renewals, and filing documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and lawyers, and visit government offices directly for regulatory filings.
  • Organize and track compliance calendars, ensure timely document submissions, and keep all records audit -ready for government inspections.

Legal, Admin & Documentation:

  • Maintain secure repositories for company documents, NDAs, offer letters, statutory records, and vendor, employee, and consultant agreements.
  • Review and draft NDAs, agreements, and standard terms and conditions tailored to changing business requirements.
  • Legal experience or prior exposure to contracts, labour matters, or compliance documentation will be an added advantage.
  • Support office administration, vendor coordination, facility records, licenses, renewals, insurance documents, and internal filing systems.
  • Create and update SOPs, checklists, and tracking systems across various all the business functions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years in management consulting, startup operations, compliance, or finance coordination.
  • 100% on -site role at our facility in Ahmedabad; must be based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate.
  • Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, payroll inputs, basic accounting (invoices, ledgers), and legal contract review/drafting.
  • Working knowledge of statutory compliances, labour laws, and the Factories Act (specifically Gujarat local regulations).
  • Familiarity with accounting, payroll, or HRMS platforms (e.g., Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, Razorpay, Odoo) and advanced Excel.
  • Working knowledge of HR statutory compliances, labour laws, factory -related compliances, and basic tax/compliance processes.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and comfort with invoices, reimbursements, payment records, payroll inputs, and documentation.
  • High -ownership execution, independent problem -solving alongside senior leadership, and comfort with fast -paced startup ambiguity.
  • Legal documentation experience will be an added advantage.
