The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to partner directly with our Founder as the bridge between leadership and the engineering organisation.

This is a high-leverage operator role — you'll ensure momentum, clarity, and coordination across engineering projects while also shaping what gets built and why. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who aspires to be a future technical founder or product leader, with a front-row seat to building a high-velocity, AI-first product org from the ground up.

What You'll Own

Execution and Coordination

• Work closely with the Founder to track, unblock, and prioritise projects across engineering

• Coordinate execution across AI, full-stack, security, and survey programming teams

• Maintain clear visibility on progress across all verticals — what's moving, what's stuck, and what's next

• Build and maintain internal systems for planning, review, and documentation across the engineering org

Product and Strategy

• Define and own the product roadmap for your areas, grounded in customer insight and business impact

• Represent the Founder in async updates and customer or partner calls when needed

• Drive decisions on what to build, what to defer, and what to cut — with clear reasoning behind each call

• Contribute to architecture and design reviews, ensuring product decisions are technically sound

Standards and Operations

• Help enforce standards around code quality, system design, and security without becoming a bottleneck

• Drive operational improvements that keep the team moving fast without adding bureaucratic overhead

• Structure messy, ambiguous problems into clear scopes, owners, and timelines
  

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• 3–5 years of experience in product management or a technical leadership role within an engineering org

• Technical enough to engage meaningfully in architecture discussions — experience in full-stack, backend, or AI systems is a strong plus

• Track record of driving delivery in fast-moving environments without relying on heavy process

• Strong ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into clarity, visibility, and progress

• Excellent communication: comfortable pushing back, asking hard questions, and aligning stakeholders with different priorities

• Process-oriented but not bureaucratic — you focus on momentum and outcomes, not documentation for its own sake

Nice to Have

• Experience working directly with founders or in a chief of staff / founding PM capacity

• Strong opinions about how high-performing engineering and product teams should operate

• Prior experience in a zero-to-one or early growth stage environment

• Familiarity with AI-driven products, LLM systems, or data-heavy SaaS platforms
