What you'll build:

Product strategy and AI innovation

• Contribute to the roadmap for AI-enabled Disclosure Management capabilities in alignment with the broader EPM AI strategy and SAP’s North Star vision


• Define AI and agentic use cases across the end-to-end disclosure lifecycle, including data collection, narrative generation, validation, XBRL tagging, review workflows, publication, and filing


• Shape how AI can improve narrative reporting, report creation, validation, review workflows, and regulatory filing processes


• Define agentic workflows that automate repetitive reporting tasks while maintaining auditability, transparency, and compliance


• Shape intelligent experiences for annual reports, quarterly filings, ESG disclosures, statutory reporting, and management reporting


• Collaborate with EPM AI Product Experts and SAP AI teams to align Disclosure Management priorities with SAP-wide AI initiatives


• Participate in AI workshops and cross-portfolio discussions to represent Disclosure Management and EPM reporting scenarios

Cross-team execution and delivery

• Partner closely with engineering teams and SAP AI experts to design, build, and deliver AI-driven Disclosure Management capabilities


• Take end-to-end ownership of AI-driven Disclosure Management capabilities, leading initiatives from ideation and concept validation through design, development, release, and customer adoption


• Drive rapid execution while maintaining high standards for quality, compliance, usability, and customer value


• Demonstrate a strong bias for action by turning ideas into production-ready capabilities in close collaboration with engineering, UX, documentation, and AI expert teams


• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and backlog items


• Collaborate with Group Reporting teams to ensure seamless integration between consolidation outcomes and disclosure processes


• Partner with AI experts to design intelligent agents for content generation, validation, variance explanation, workflow orchestration, and filing support

Customer engagement and enablement

• Engage directly with customers and partners to understand disclosure processes, pain points, and emerging reporting requirements


• Validate AI use cases with customers and translate feedback into product requirements and roadmap priorities


• Support customer adoption by developing best practices, playbooks, and guidance for AI-enabled disclosure processes


• Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success teams to articulate customer value and positioning for AI capabilities


• Represent Disclosure Management and AI initiatives in customer councils, workshops, and strategic customer engagements

What you bring

Required domain expertise

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, solution management, consulting, or enterprise reporting solutions


• Hands-on experience with SAP Disclosure Management or comparable disclosure reporting solutions is required


• Strong understanding of financial closing processes, particularly the last mile of financial reporting


• Experience with annual reports, quarterly reports, statutory filings, management reporting, and regulatory disclosures


• Basic business and technical understanding of at least one regulatory XBRL or iXBRL reporting scenario


• Advanced understanding of XBRL, iXBRL, and related technical artifacts


• Strong understanding of the relationship between consolidation processes and disclosure reporting


• Good understanding of consolidation and group finance processes, including SAP Group Reporting


• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud is strongly preferred


• Knowledge of ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures is a plus

AI and technology expertise

• Experience identifying and defining AI and agentic AI use cases in enterprise software


• Understanding of generative AI concepts, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI agents


• Experience working with engineering teams to deliver AI-powered capabilities from concept to production


• Ability to translate business problems into AI product concepts and actionable requirements


• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including privacy, security, transparency, and auditability

Collaboration and leadership

• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex product initiatives from concept to production in fast-paced environments


• Proven track record of translating product strategy into delivered capabilities with measurable business impact


• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently and navigate ambiguity effectively


• Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to translate customer feedback into product direction


• Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders


• Experience collaborating across product, engineering, UX, and AI expert teams


• Strong networking skills and a collaborative approach to building alignment across diverse stakeholders


• Passion for innovation, AI, and user-centric product development

Candidates without prior experience in Disclosure Management, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting solutions are unlikely to be successful in this role.

You will join a global Product Management organization focused on Enterprise Performance Management, spanning consolidation, planning, analytics, taxes, and financial reporting.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, UX designers, AI experts, and field teams across regions. Day to day, you will help transform Disclosure Management into an intelligent, AI-powered experience that simplifies financial reporting and improves customer outcomes.

Working across Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business AI teams, and other EPM product areas, you will design intelligent reporting experiences that simplify disclosure processes and improve customer outcomes.

You will work in a global team across multiple locations and report to the Product Management Head of Enterprise Performance Management.
