Role Overview
Responsible for the overall project delivery, providing leadership, business coordination and management of processes and functions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the project/program. Ensures projects are customer-focused and well-governed. Regularly report to the steering committee on the progress of project. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), the PM will closely work with Global Finance Team, ETO team, IT and other departments as required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of projects including project plans, identifying and coordinating resources, monitoring budgets, and meeting governance and reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realization, project impacts, outcomes and measures to ensure the success of the project.
In consultation with ETO Manager, monitor the allocation of resources to ensure the achievement of strategic deliverables whilst maintaining a high level of service for business-as-usual activities.
Work in consultation with business units (e.g. Group Finance, but not limited to) and regions to ensure projects are implemented successfully and with an aim of improving the quality and impact of services provided.
Ensure appropriate governance and risk frameworks are utilized to ensure project success.
Use established standardized project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
Ensure consistent tracking of project performance, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
Ensure alignment between project outcomes and business objectives.
Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, bottlenecks and risks.
Foster strong collaboration across global and regional teams.
Ensure stakeholder readiness, communication, and adoption of new processes and systems.
Project and Test (including Data Migration) Planning.
Staff Training and Communication coordination (as required).
Coordination of Project daily/weekly standups and SME meetings.
Participation in regular ETO meetings.
Upload project timesheets as required into PSA system.
In conjunction with ETO Manager, develop and overall view of change that supports decision making around project delivery timing due to the impact on key stakeholders
In conjunction with ETO Manager, ensure all projects ensure best practice change management approaches to deliver project success.
Key Deliverables (specific to Finance System)
Implement Data, System and Process Migration of (all countries under the scope) Finance to a centralized solution
Document System and Process Requirements for Finance Systems (Global as well as Country specific)
Knowledge and working of system and process (related to Finance systems) and preparing the Requirements Definition & Documentation e.g. for Certinia FFA, Concur, EEZI etc.
Design and Manage – High Level Requirements, capture of Design Requirements and implementation process, Detailed Design and review of relevant forms
Data Analysis & Migration Work (including but not limited to Data Requests, Data Review, GLA Mapping, Data Prep, Reconciliation)
Conduct System Configuration Review (together with IT) and able to assess key risks (and document key controls required), while going through process changes
Project Vendor Contracting, Evaluation and attending their meetings
Liaison with related Departments & Stakeholders
Review and prioritize Jira Tickets / Enhancements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
10-12+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Significant Project Management Experience working in complex, multi-functional organizations
Strong ability to read and interpret relevant legislation, regulations and local policies
Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
