Senior Researcher - Formula Development

Your Tasks

The Researcher – Formulation Development will contribute to developing innovative products and improving existing formulations within the body/ skin category. This role focuses on hands-on formulation work, supporting project execution, and delivering high-quality R&D output within defined timelines under moderate supervision.

1. Project Management: - Deliver medium complex Innovation projects. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the consumer, Scientific background and respective category in relevant geographies.


2. Insight & Technology Management: -Generate and manage consumer Insights, integrating and converting them into innovation projects across the regions. Connecting it with deep scientific understanding on Physiology & Technology.


3. Open Innovation: - Scout for new, relevant technologies from a network of new and existing partners. Contribute in new product development through said partnerships.


4. Workflow know how: Job holders should be aware of general product development and innovation management processes and is also expected to develop expertise in various internal R&D data management tools.


5. Organizational Tasks: He/She is expected to manage lab management topics like general safety, raw material management, waste management etc.


6. Co-ordination & Exchange: He/ She is expected to participate in several cross-regional R&D work groups. He/ She is also expected to be a single point contact for several key suppliers/external partners.


7. Category Business Knowledge: Basic understanding of business cases and financials is expected.


8. Stakeholder Management: Job holders should be able to influence and drive decision with key stakeholders in alignment with department head on projects and categories.

Your Profile

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong foundation in basic sciences, formulation science, stability monitoring, and product development processes with minimum 3-5 years of experience


• Ability to identify and resolve formulation and process-related technological challenges.


• Basic understanding of skin biology and its relevance to formulation performance.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas confidently to individuals and groups using appropriate language and style.


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build productive working relationships across functions.

Analytical & Presentation Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.


• Methodical, systematic, and logical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
