Job Description - Senior Services Sales Executive, Payments


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Services Sales Executive, Payments in India.


This role is a high-impact, client-facing enterprise sales position focused on driving growth across a strategic portfolio of banking customers within the payments domain.
You will act as a key hunter and relationship builder, responsible for expanding services business and strengthening long-term partnerships with major financial institutions across APAC.
The position combines consultative selling, strategic account planning, and complex stakeholder management in large enterprise environments.
You will work closely with internal product, sales, and technical teams to identify opportunities and shape tailored solutions for client needs.
This is a highly autonomous role requiring strong pipeline ownership, proactive engagement, and consistent execution against ambitious revenue targets.
You will operate as a trusted advisor, influencing senior decision-makers while contributing directly to business growth in a competitive fintech landscape.


Accountabilities:



  • Drive end-to-end enterprise sales activities across a defined portfolio of banking clients, with a strong focus on expanding payments-related services revenue.

  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and consistent account engagement.

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving business, technology, procurement, and executive-level decision-makers.

  • Build and execute strategic account plans based on deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and market dynamics.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for payments transformation initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, product, and technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements and drive joint success.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure disciplined sales forecasting and reporting.


Requirements:



  • Proven experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or fintech sales, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.

  • Strong track record of growing large accounts through consultative, solution-oriented selling approaches.

  • Deep understanding of banking operations, payments ecosystems, and financial services industry trends.

  • Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders across technical, commercial, and executive levels.

  • Demonstrated capability to translate client needs into tailored value propositions and commercial opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in complex enterprise environments.

  • Results-driven mindset with strong ownership of pipeline, forecasting, and revenue outcomes.
