Description
We are looking for a skilled Service Desk professional to join our dynamic team at Zensar Technologies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure. With a focus on providing timely and efficient solutions, the Service Desk role is vital in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service desk operations, a passion for technology, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support and assistance to internal and external clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all support requests and their resolutions.
Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with other teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Perform regular system checks and monitor IT infrastructure for potential issues.
Document and update knowledge base articles to improve self-service support.
Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security measures.
Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

3-6 years of overall technical experience, with a focus on service desk operations.
Proficiency in MS Office, Desktop, and Laptop support.
Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and ServiceNow or similar ITIL toolsets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work in night shifts to support US client operations.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
Basic understanding of networking and security concepts.
A positive attitude and a customer-centric approach to work.
