Service Engineer Electromagnetic Flowmeter

Experience:

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Service Engineer with experience in instrumentation and flow measurement systems to provide technical support, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for Electromagnetic Flowmeters. The role requires regular customer interaction, field service activities, and travel to customer sites across India as per project and service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, and startup activities for Electromagnetic Flowmeters at customer sites.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.


• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.


• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers regarding product operation and maintenance.


• Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, inspection records, and service documentation.


• Coordinate with internal technical, sales, and operations teams for effective issue resolution.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company service procedures during field activities.


• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.


• Support warranty and post-warranty service activities.


• Travel extensively to customer locations across India whenever required.

Desired Skills:

• Good understanding of Electromagnetic Flowmeters and industrial instrumentation.


• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting practices.


• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and product manuals.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Good communication and customer-handling abilities.


• Proficiency in preparing service reports and documentation.


• Willingness to travel extensively for field service assignments.
