Job Responsibilities:

 We are seeking an experienced **Senior ServiceNow Developer/Administrator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, customization, and ongoing administration of the ServiceNow platform. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, automate processes, integrate with enterprise systems, and ensure the platform delivers maximum value to the organization. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, modules, and solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Configure and customize core ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Fulfillment, Knowledge, Asset, CMDB).

• Develop and optimize automation using **Flow Designer**, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Workflow Studio.

• Build and enhance **Service Portal** experiences, including custom widgets, pages, and Record Producers.

• Implement and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and other tools.

• Perform advanced scripting with **JavaScript** and the **Glide API** (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, etc.).

• Manage platform administration tasks including user/role management, ACLs, performance tuning, upgrades, and instance hygiene.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide estimates, and deliver solutions using Agile methodologies.

• Create and manage Update Sets, Scoped Applications, and follow best practices for maintainability and scalability.

• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.

• Mentor junior developers/admins and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices.

**Key skills for a ServiceNow Dev/Admin role (5+ years experience)**

**Platform Fundamentals & Administration**:

• Instance management (upgrades, plugins, cloning, performance tuning).

• User/Role/Group management, ACLs (Access Control Lists).

• Forms, Lists, UI customization, Templates, Branding (Next Experience/UI).

• Data management (Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Policies, Dictionary).

**Scripting & Development**:

• Strong **JavaScript** proficiency (client + server-side).

• **Glide API** (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideDateTime, GlideSystem, etc.).

• Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Actions.

• Advanced: Scripted REST APIs, Inbound/Outbound integrations.

**Automation & Workflows**:

• **Flow Designer** (preferred over legacy Workflow) — subflows, actions, data pills, scripting in flows.

• Workflow Studio, Approvals, Notifications, SLAs.

• Virtual Agent / Conversational AI basics.

**Service Portal & UI Development**:

• Widgets (AngularJS or modern), Service Portal pages, Record Producers.

• Custom UI/UX enhancements.

 **Integrations**:

• REST/SOAP Web Services, Integration Hub (spokes, connections).

• MID Server, Transform Scripts, API management.

• Common integrations (e.g., Active Directory/Entra ID, PagerDuty, external systems).

**ITSM & Core Modules**:

• Deep knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Asset/CMDB.

• ITIL alignment and process customization.

• CMDB management, Discovery basics.
