Snowflake+ IICS

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to design, develop, migrate, and implement enterprise data warehouse solutions. The candidate should have strong SQL and data modeling skills, hands-on experience with Snowflake development, and exposure to integrating S/4HANA source data into Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement data solutions using Snowflake.


• Build and maintain ETL mappings and integrations using IICS.


• Design and implement data warehouse solutions and migrate workloads to Snowflake.


• Develop Snowflake Stored Procedures, Views, UDFs, and other database objects.


• Build data ingestion pipelines using IICS, COPY, Snowpipe, and other Snowflake ingestion techniques.


• Implement CDC solutions using Snowflake Streams and Time Travel.


• Develop and manage Snowflake Tasks, Data Sharing, and Data Replication.


• Integrate and load data from SAP S/4HANA into Snowflake.


• Perform advanced SQL development and query performance tuning.


• Apply appropriate data modeling techniques for analytical workloads.


• Explore and implement newer Snowflake capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex.


• Collaborate with Business and IT teams to understand requirements, resolve dependencies, and provide status updates.


• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitLab.

Mandatory Skills

• 7–10 years of overall IT experience.


• 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Warehouse technologies.


• 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake design, development, implementation, or migration experience.


• Strong hands-on experience with IICS / Informatica Cloud.


• Strong SQL and query performance tuning skills.


• Experience with Snowflake Stored Procedures, Views, and UDFs.


• Experience with S/4HANA to Snowflake data integration.


• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Streams, Time Travel, and Tasks.


• Strong understanding of Data Modeling.


• Experience with Snowpipe / COPY and Snowflake data ingestion.

Good to Have

• Snowflake Cortex and other recent Snowflake features.


• Azure DevOps / GitLab CI/CD.


• Snowflake Data Sharing and Replication.


• Snowflake Streamlit.


• Enterprise data warehouse migration experience.


• Strong stakeholder and business requirement management skills.
