ParallelDots is led by alumni of IIT KGP and BITS Pilani, headquartered in the USA, with offices across India, UK, Europe, and Mexico. Our solutions are deployed across 40 countries, covering 1M+ stores, processing 10M+ photos/month.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend solutions using Python, Flask, and MySQL

  
  


• 
  

  Write clean, modular, testable code to build microservices primarily in Python

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate UI elements with server-side logic

  
  


• 
  

  Perform thorough testing, debugging, and system optimization to remove bottlenecks

  
  


• 
  

  Work with large datasets and perform data processing using PySpark

  
  


• 
  

  Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and PySpark for large-scale data transformation

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to best coding practices, including writing test cases integrated into CI/CD pipelines

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain backend documentation including API specs and technical documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Databricks is an added advantage

  
  


• 
  

  Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS / Google Cloud) is a plus
