Job Description - Special Educator Intellectual Disability (ID)

Requirements

 Conduct baseline ability assessments to pinpoint student strengths, gaps, and personal

support requirements.

 Utilize varied instructional techniques—including task analysis, visual boards, multi-

sensory activities, and structured play—to maximize learning engagement.

 Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary team members, including therapists and

support staff, to provide holistic care.

 Continually adapt instructional methods based on student evaluation, emotional needs,

and behavioral feedback.
