Specialist, Benefits Delivery

Department Overview

McDonald's has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, Benefits Delivery (Benefits Specialist - US) based in our India Global Business Services Office. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of benefits programs, policies, and practices for the US Segment. You will ensure operational excellence in benefits administration, collaborate with vendors to meet technical requirements, and provide accurate data to support audits.

Duties

In addition to following McDonald's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Benefits Administration

• Administer U.S. benefit plans, including retirement/401k, health, insurance, COBRA, LTD, expat, and consultant/leased-employee processes.


• Resolve eligibility, enrollment, contribution, rehire, transfer, leave of absence, termination, and service-credit issues.


• Review payroll edits, exceptions, adjustments, and data discrepancies for timely correction.


• Support annual plan activities, reporting, census review, funding coordination, and participant searches.


• Maintain accurate records and improve benefits processes, compliance, and employee experience.

Vendor Management

• Coordinate with vendors on service delivery, requirements, and issue resolution.


• Maintain vendor contracts, agreements, system updates, and service records.


• Provide data for audits, compliance reporting, and vendor reviews.


• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.


• Track vendor performance and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Total Rewards, or related field; advanced degree preferred.


• Experience in roles related to benefits delivery or Total Rewards.


• Experience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structure.


• Experience working across many countries and cultures, US Benefits experience preferred.


• Understands the needs and challenges of global leaders.
