Sr Advanced System Engineer

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Bangalore location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of innovative solutions that drive operational excellence and enhance the efficiency of our engine and power systems.

• Develop and manage system requirements for power systems products like Generator Controller Unit, Starter Controller Unit and Engine Controller, APU Controller Unit.


• Design and implement control systems in matlab/Simulink Models, ensuring effective hardware and software integration.


• Apply knowledge of ARP4754, DO-178, and DO-160 standards in the certification process.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations.


• Optional: Contribute to electric drive control projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, or electronics engineering.


• Expertise in system requirements and control systems.


• Strong background in hardware and software integration.


• Familiarity with certification processes and relevant standards (ARP4754, DO-178, DO-160).


• Good understanding of control systems principles.


• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink modeling is a plus.


• Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering practices is a plus.


• Experience in electric drive control is an optional skill.

• Previous experience in the engine and power system domain.


• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies like Digital Engineering and MBSE.


• Excellent problem-solving abilities.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
